Yes, my understanding is that if you own the HD version and the standard (Wii/GC) version then it's OK to use the textures of one in the other. You're allowed to dump TPHD textures, adapt them for Dolphin for your personal use, but not share them over the internet, right? Is this legal? I mean, technically, original textures are copyrighted content. The lack of coherence between textures is not that huge, it looks incredible. Yes, the idea to extract TPHD textures to apply them as a texture pack on Dolphin is interesting.Įven if, personally, I'm still more exited for the HD project mod.
